Memorial Park features a playground and open green space that's perfect for a game of tag or tossing a ball around, while Leslie Park offers a wheelchair-accessible playground, basketball court, walking trail, and beautiful flower gardens for the adults to enjoy while the kids play.

For a relaxing evening walk, start at Leslie Park and follow the nearby walking trail before continuing over to Lakeside Park.
This paved riverside path offers beautiful views of the Winnipeg River, making it a fantastic location to enjoy the evening and slip into vacation mode.

Start your morning at the Farmers' Market
There's no better way to kick off a Saturday in Lac du Bonnet than at the Lac du Bonnet Farmers' Market.
Browse a wide selection of locally grown produce, fresh baking, handmade goods, artwork, and unique finds while enjoying the lively community atmosphere. It's the perfect place to pick up snacks for the day, chat with local vendors, and discover something you won't find anywhere else.
The Lac du Bonnet Farmers' Market runs from May Long weekend until Thanksgiving weekend. Join them every Saturday from 10am to 1pm (2pm on long weekends), rain or shine, outside of the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre.
Enjoy some time at the Town Dock and Beach
From the market, it's only a short walk to one of Lac du Bonnet's most recognizable gathering places.
The Town Dock and Beach is a central gathering spot with a supervised swimming area, playground, and plenty of open space to relax by the water. It's a great spot for classic beach fun, whether that means diving off the dock, building sandcastles, enjoying a picnic lunch, or working on your tan.
Hike Blueberry Rock Trail
Swap out your bathing suit for hiking boots and head down to the Blueberry Rock Trail.
This 1.8 km loop winds through Canadian Shield terrain, with granite outcrops, tall pines, and open viewpoints overlooking the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you find a lookout tower, picnic area with tables and fire pits, and a birds-eye view of the rock quarry.
The trail is considered moderately easy, making it suitable for families, casual hikers, and dogs on leash. The volunteers of the Lac du Bonnet Trails Association, in partnership with RM of Lac du Bonnet Public Works, maintains the trail and assets so all can enjoy this gorgeous adventure.
Spend the evening on the water
No visit to Lac du Bonnet is complete without time on the Winnipeg River.
Launch a boat and explore the river system, or bring a kayak or paddleboard to work your way through channels and shoreline inlets. Fishing, waterskiing, tubing, and wakeboarding are all popular here, with plenty of space to spread out and explore on the larger bodies of water.
With countless bays and islands to discover, it's easy for an afternoon on the water to turn into the highlight of the weekend.

Before heading home, take a final slow walk through the Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Association Trout Ponds.
The site features several stocked ponds alongside a 1.2-kilometre interpretive trail that winds through natural space. It's a great spot for birdwatching, fishing from accessible platforms, photography, or enjoying one last jaunt before the drive home.
